The categories feature with Dispatch allows you to separate work and personal contacts & phone numbers. You can filter your contacts & numbers into separate categories & sub-categories to help keep work and personal life separate and organized.
By default, you have two categories in Dispatch:
You also have filters to help you with categorization:
Work
Contacts in this category are the ones that you assigned as your work contacts. You can add up to 5 sub-categories for work.
To create sub-categories: Settings Menu > Manage > Choose Work or Personal category to add a sub-category > Enter sub-ctegory name > Save
Personal
Contacts in this category are the ones you assigned as your personal contacts. You can add up to 5 sub-categories for work.
To create sub-categories: Settings Menu > Manage > Choose Work or Personal category to add a sub-category > Enter sub-ctegory name > Save
All Categories
These are the total contacts/numbers you have in all the categories combined. This filter also includes the uncategorized contacts/numbers to help you view the total assigned and unassigned contacts.
Uncategorized
The contacts in this list are ones that you have yet to categorize (currently unassigned). Use this filter to assign numbers to work or personal easily. Instructions on how to assign can be found here: How to assign contacts & numbers to a category
Spam
This filter helps to remove incoming communication that has been marked as 'Spam Risk' by Dispatch. This helps to keep your inbox clean and free of unwanted calls & messages from spam numbers.
